Matria is a sourced reflection app: it answers a lived question only from an archive of real women, myths, ideas and traditions, and shows you every source. If something is not working, or you want to suggest a woman or a correction, write to us.
Email hello@matria.life. We aim to reply within a few days, and within 24 hours for anything involving safety or a reported letter.
Where is my data, and how do I delete it?
Without an account, everything you write stays on your device. Clear data in the app or delete the app to remove it. With a paid account, we also hold your email, pen name, and letters you send; email hello@matria.life to request account deletion. See the Privacy Policy.
Does Matria give advice or predictions?
No. Matria offers sourced reflection, not advice, diagnosis, prediction, manifestation or astrology. If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line.
Why are some quotations not shown?
Matria shows a direct quotation only when its rights are cleared. Otherwise it offers its own editorial reading, clearly labelled "From Matria," and never invents a quote.
How do I report a letter or block someone?
If letters are available in your version, each received letter has options to report it and to block the sender. Reported letters are reviewed, and we act on safety reports within 24 hours.
Accessibility
Matria uses a highly legible typeface for body text and supports Reduce Motion. If something is hard to read or use, please tell us and we will fix it.
Suggesting a woman or a correction
The archive grows carefully and every entry is sourced. If a name is missing or a detail is wrong, email us with a reference and we will review it.
